This exhibition revisits Elsewhere, the 2026 MFA Graphic Design Thesis Exhibition, originally on display this past spring. This reinstallation offers another opportunity to spend time with the projects, ideas, and practices that formed the original show.

There exists a place just beyond our current bounds. Beyond the imaginary lines that divide our space, the edges of the frame that shorten our perceptual capabilities, or the economy of the gallery wall that dictates our imagination. A place where how we see can bend from the edges of here to somewhere else. Elsewhere chases this place, engaging the thresholds of here not as obstacles to overcome, but as sites of generative possibility.
